Bootleg Bar-B-Q Reviews
Just got home to find out I spent $110 for a dried out slab of baby back ribs, something called “beef” in some kind of weird sauce when I actually ordered brisket, and the most average Mac and cheese and red beans and rice. Not anytime soon will I be stopping by again
Love their wings. I’ve driven 1 hour 15 minutes twice from Lexington over last 3 months to pick up wings. They were able to accommodate a 100 wing order same day on February 3, 2024. Had a party yesterday and now 10 more of buddies our fans of the wings. Appreciate y’all.
My wife and I ordered carryout today. I ordered pulled pork sandwich with bbq sauce on the side. A pretty basic run of the mill order at a BBQ spot. Got home, opened the plate, NO BBQ SAUCE! From a BBQ restaurant! I had to eat a dry a$$ pulled pork sandwich with some Mac n cheese so thick I pulled the whole serving out of it's container with one scoop of my fork. The red beans and rice was good though and my wife said hers was good. NO BBQ SAUCE THOUGH? Can't get over that one.

Bootleg Bar-B-Q offers a casual dining experience with good food prices, music, and a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including ribs, chicken, brisket, and sides like pickles and baked beans. Reviewers praise the flavor and options available, with some standout dishes like the pulled pork BBQ sandwich. The facility has been updated and is now a great place to take the family for a sit-down BBQ. It features a low-key wooden theme and smoked wings, with sticky semi-spicy wings and BBQ noted as delicious. The lemonade is also highly praised. Parking can be tight, but they deliver to your car. The place is suitable for kids, with outdoor seating available for those who are louder or more rambunctious. It seems accessible for those with disabilities, though there are no automatic doors. Overall, it remains a good spot for BBQ with reasonable prices and a friendly, laid-back environment.
