“We stopped here after visiting a few distilleries in the area and we certainly were NOT disappointed! We ordered the pimento cheese and bacon jam grilled cheese with a side of asparagus and the blackened catfish with grits and greens. Every single piece of that meal was spectacular. We couldn’t stop talking about the food after we left.Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our group with two babies.I highly recommend making a reservation so you can skip the wait. The place is pretty small.Overall such a great experience and would recommend to anyone and everyone!“
“You have to look through the menu the food is so so, for the price it's good. They feed a lot of people I am picky about my food. Some of their food is under seasoned and some of it is really over seasoned. Like I explained you get what you pay for.“
“I ordered the cod fish dinner with broccoli casserole and a baked potato, loaded with no onion. The potato was cold and hard as a rock with a folio of hard butter on top and sour cream. My server apologized and took it back. I finished my meal and told the server I didn’t want the potato at that point. They took my receipt back to remove the potato, I thought, but actually removed my meal from the whole check. A nice surprise but totally not expected. I tipped them the cost of my meal, in cash at the table.“
“Lee’s spicy chicken is the real thing! It’s juicy and cooked just right, and their seasoning blend is hot, but not extreme. Not only that, they have chicken livers, cooked the way your grandma used to make them, soft and delicious and perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese was a little ‘blah’ this trip but the green beans were excellent. With a sweet tea to sip on it’s a classic menu no chicken lover should miss.“
