Perfect Valentine’s Day meal. The restaurant is upscale, chic, and sophisticated with pretty downtown views. The server, Jesus, was excellent. The attentiveness of Christian the manager was off the charts. We ordered chicken piccata, loved it. The pasta is made in house and everything is fresh. I think this is likely the high bar on “high end” Italian food in Lex. Of the half dozen times I have eaten here, I haven’t had a bad experience. It’s the most delightful when the weather cooperates for the doors to be open.Wine list is somewhat meh.

Wow! We had an amazing dinner at Italx. We started with the burrata and tomato appetizer which never disappoints. For dinner, they were unable to make our first choice but our waiter understood what we were looking for and offered a modification to a clam linguine dish that was superb. We love this restaurant and always look forward to an excellent meal in a beautiful location.
