Brought four friends and my wife here on our Bourbon Trail trip this past week. I have been to the restaurant twice before but for them the first time. It did not disappoint, and next time my wife are in Louisville we will visit again.
We had a reservation for 7:45pm and were seated right away (table of 4). Wife and I had been there multiple times and brought friends who had never dined there before. The waitress was very nice but the service was terribly slow. Don't know if they were short staffed and she was stretched too thin, if the kitchen was short-handed...or both. The food was good but took forever. The waitress came by at one point and said "your food will be coming out soon!" and then...
My filet was perfection the crust on the exterior was a great compliment to the medium rare interior, the flavor so very good. Dessert was a Raspberry Coulis and cream covered melt in your mouth masterpiece. I will definitely go there again.
