13 dollars for some tiny chicken fingers small enough to fit in the palm of my hand? Then two "sides" that could fit in the other palm of my hand. The chicken was dry and cold, had been sitting for a while, very tough to try to eat.
Highway robbery. Shrink-flation must have hit this joint hard.

Stopped by today to get a side of mashed potatoes and Cole slaw. Older lady, worker came out didn’t greet me. Another young lady came out, she did greet me, but with cellphone in hand and watching a IG reel.
Older lady, I noticed wasn’t working but behind the counter fixing her own meal to go and left. She was unkept, hair all over her head and just unprofessional looking, while the others in the back looked just as bad.
I was able to snap a photo of her. I drove off, stopped at another establishment and then my order away. What a waste.
I know it’s a fast food establishment, but damn, do better. Where do you all hire these people from?

My experience wasn't the best but other people have had better
This place needs to be shut down I asked for some fresh chicken they told me they can't make it fresh they stop frying chicken in the morning so the chicken just sits in a pan of grease from open to close and the workers wasn't happy I didn't enjoy my food they became very rude and could care less about my experience I will never be back it was the worst experience ever at one of my favorite places to get chicken
A neighborhood staple- no frills, can draw a crowd but they keep the line moving. Changes ownership more frequently than you would think, but consistent still.

Visiting Kentucky from Florida, and I decided to try this restaurant over some of the other local chicken places. I have to say, I was quite disappointed. While the flavor and crunch were good, the chicken was barely warm, and the gizzards were cold and overcooked, which was very disappointing. And you have a cashier who has food in their mouth trying to take orders.

Why would a 230 lb. 55 year old man have an emotional moment in a fast food place? I went on solo trip weeks ago to immerse myself in all things bourbon. In the early 90's we had a Lee's franchise in Tulsa, OK. We (celebrated our 26th anniversary this year.) were young & still working our way thru college. Lee's was delicious & always a lunch special or meal deal made it an affordable favorite. In the mid 90's it closed & I haven't had Lee's in over 25 years. I shared with a man in line my story & everyone heard. So between the patrons & staff I was guided thru the process. As I took my 1st bites I was transported back in time to those exact flavors, seasonings, textures I recalled from so long ago. I was having that "moment" when a patron from earlier checked on me. She asked if I was OK after I turned to answer. I said "ma'am everything is exactly, exactly as I remembered it. Flavors, seasoning, breading, texture, all of it. (Thank you Lee's Bardstown, Ky. like more than a delicious meal, just like I remembered. Thank you for a trip down memory lane.)??

Prices have gone up again at Lees chicken and this time they removed a side from your combo as well. It used to be less than $10 for a combo, you’d get your chicken, 2 sides, a biscuit and a soft drink now it’s $11+ and you only get one side. Make it make sense. This is the second price increase in less than 2 years. I will not be eating Lees ever again. Overpriced nonsense.
