Often runs out of chicken livers and you'd think they could plan better since this happens frequently.

Food was very bland. Chicken tasted freezer burnt. Mashed Potatoes & gravy flavorless. Mac n Cheese was terrible. The Biscuits are really good and fluffy. (Or was I just hungry?) I used to like Lee's but I won't return. $35 for an 8 piece freezer burnt meal is not in my budget.

Delicious food, terrible service. If you order takeout from this restaurant, you need to make a big deal of opening up the box in the store and checking to make sure they did not short you. Twice now they have just not given us wings. In my family, we all like a certain part of the chicken. I like the wings. Today I specifically asked if there would be 4 wings in our 16 piece meal, because last time there were not, and I was assured that there would be. Food gets home and we check the box, no wings. I am apoplectic. This restaurant has ruined my dinner twice now. I specifically asked if there would be wings in the box. I was lied to. This is a management problem. The franchise owner needs to fire people. Ridiculously awful service.

I love the food but as a driver, I need to eat in because I don't want to eat in my vehicles and they're dining area was closed off. So I chose not to eat and find somewhere else..
The best fried chicken! Hands down

I cannot rave enough about this particular Lee’s. Friendly staff, delicious fresh food, and most importantly: they are lightning fast. Like, scary fast. I’ll go in there and there will be 8 people in front of me in line, and in the blink of an eye, I’m in the front of the line. A minute later I’m outta there with my meal. You won’t get that kind of service anywhere else… maybe Chick Fil A but even they have been slipping lately. Keep it up, Brownsboro Lee’s!! Y’all are crushin it.

First off LOVE the chicken it’s just right ! Crispy , spicy (if you want spicy) and it’s just all around good BUT I ordered a kids tender with wedges and the wedges were not fresh if you ask me or they just wasn’t fried long enough they were soggy and my daughter refused to eat them & it was the same way with the gizzards and I loveeeeee gizzards so this was a big turn off when I had my mind set on some tasty gizzards I actually threw them away …the cashier actually was bragging about how they sell out of them 🤦🏾♀️ was nothing like he said they were soggy as the wedges and was mostly just skin that wasn’t crispy it was like eating a bucket of soggy skins recommend asking for all your food fresh in my personal opinion I would not be back but that’s just my experience take your own and ask for it fresh

I had a hankering for chicken liver, which I know is not a very popular cuisine options and that ultimately means not many places serve them. I knew that Lee’s Famous Recipe did and though I’ve had theirs before and they were just ok… I reluctantly thought I’d try again. Spoiler alert- they are still just ok. The batter that they use is extremely salty and they’re fried so you don’t need the extra salt. I bought a regular order of livers a regular order of gizzards and a dunker meal. The portion of a regular for $4.99 is very small. The texture was good but the taste is just so so for both and the light batter doesn’t lead one to believe that they are cooked well. The fingers looked under cooked as well. So all in all I did get what I ordered. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and my order was taken quickly and given to me quickly. The value for the price… it’s on the high side. The taste is nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is wonky. It’s an older bldg so they have seating but it’s in the back and odd to get to. I have to give it a 3/10 bc it was barely mediocre. I have however learned my lesson. The employees are nice and good is severed to you quickly but if the taste is just ok it’s not really worth it. Other menu items may be great but I won’t be going back. Best of luck if you go!
