Peking City Express Chinese Cuisine

I love Chinese food and I have tried almost all the Chinese restaurants in Louisville. But Peking City hands down has the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had!! Service is always fast, great food, & prices are just right!! 100% recommend this place, I wish I could take it with me to college.

This is now Felipe Mexican Restaurant. We had tacos, n drinks plus chorizo with Blanco cheese. Plenty of room, and very reasonable.

This place is great. Everything we had tasted like it was made in house, not out of a bag. The chili dumplings off the authentic menu were delicious. Definitely going back.

This place is not your typical run of the mill Chinese restaurant, it's actually good. It looks like most of their dishes and fried rice are made in-house rather than using prepackaged mixes that a lot of the other places seem to use.

Outstanding and authentic Chinese food with fresh ingredients and large servings. This is a great combination for success! I found the sesame chicken with broccoli to be excellent with a very flavorful sauce and very large pieces of chicken and it came out piping hot. The broccoli was cooked just correctly and as you can tell by the photo is very fresh. I also thought the egg drop soup was very flavorful and much better than many others in the area, with the exception of perhaps the Oriental House.The staff and owners were very friendly and there’s enough table space inside to sit comfortably while you wait for your meal. Of course they also have a big carry-out menu as well. they have canned soft drinks and bottled teas so no fountain drinks and they also have filtered water.For those that are interested they also have a separate authentic Chinese menu, written of course in Chinese so I couldn’t actually read it.Worth a return visit.

Little hole in the wall takeout Chinese place, I love the flavors they bring. From the paper lanterns to the actual cashew chicken (been looking for this for a bit) even the carrots in the sweet and sour, this place is good food, and when the lunch specials are only 16 bux for 2 people...its cheap too! Yeah, will be back. This time with 2 orders of cashew chicken...yes, and Hot and Sour soup! Cause wanton is too bland. Now if they just had flat fried wonton...I'd order a bunch and make me 1 ton! Lol

Always superb service. We adore the fried dumplings. The Chinese vegetable soup is a treasure: whole baby leeks, carrots, a touch of garlic, Rich tofu, every mouthful a delight. My daughter's beef and scallions was terrific. We can't say enough good things about our favorite Chinese restaurant. We worry that it will become so popular we won't be able to get in! Truly, excellent food.

I cried when Peking City Bistro closed. I cried again (with joy) when I discovered that it had reopened as this place! All my favorites are still available (get the potstickers/fried dumplings!) and the staff is just as friendly. Delivery is available through GrubHub, but pick-up is MUCH cheaper.

Chicken was good. Large portion of rice. Fried cheese won tons are delicious! Very friendly service.

I love the orange chicken and happy family. I called in my order and it was hot and ready to go when I got there. The lady at the register is very nice and helpful. I was happy with my order and I will go back soon. The seating area is tiny. We prefer to carry out our orders.

I ask for clear soup paid 5.30 got home thick cloud soup nothing what I wanted not good ?

When ever I carve Asian cuisine, I come here ! The staff are so pleasant ? and THE fOOD is WONDERFUL!!!! Keep up the great work ??
