Our experience was exceptional. From the moment that the doorman held the door for us, the walk through the art gallery and our welcome into the restaurant, everything was amazing! Our waitress was friendly,happy, energetic and knowledgeable on the menu and the history of the restaurant and the hotel. The appetizers (octopus and mussels were very good. The mussels themselves were small, but tasty. Our entrees were fantastic - cooked perfectly and well plated. We were too full...
Pasta with bolognese verde: this dish deserves its own hype reel. It is bright, flavorful, delicious, unusual. Get it. And the seasonal pear sorbet: I need way more of it in my life. Like who gets revved up for “sorbet” when you're looking at dessert options ... this choice is remarkable. The sorbet has a gorgeous, substantial texture. The rosemary oil and sea salt create a magical taste.
Place is decorated nicely, service was great, our server was very pleasant and fun to talk to, gave us info about food and plenty of time to make our choices. Drinks were good and interesting but I found food somewhat lacking - smaller portions and bland nothing exciting except apple morning bun. We were there for brunch and could only order from brunch menu.
