On a spontaneous whim my husband and I decided to get dressed up and have dinner at rivue on a monday evening. If you didn't know it is a revolving restaurant at the top of the Galt House overlooking the river. Another reason we decided to go was that it is closing in the next few weeks for renovations. 3 for view and service. 2 for food & cocktails. Green fried tomatoes breaded with curry, off but pretty tasty. Kale salad, curry again! It was curry on steroids! Chef went overboard with wrong spices. They should make up with cocktails but... they didn't. View is amazing!
Went there for our anniversary. They gave us a free glass of Yulupa champagne, which was good. We started with the blistered peppers, followed by the roasted snapper and the duck ala orange. The peppers were good along with the duck. The snapper was ok. Some parts were very strong and salty. Instead of desert we went with the 100 year old Grand Marnier.
