Gave me great tasting food at an actually pre-COVID price, so it’s safe to say that made me happy. Got 2 chicken thighs, a catfish sandwich and a pink lemonade for 12 dollars. Can recommend.

What can be said, if you know what was on that corner before, then you know the size and space you are walking into. It is a tight walk through type of establishment.
However the ladies behind the glass are very nice and also friendly. The items that I have ordered and or asked about stand up to the description that has been given or taste exactly the way the flavor profile has been explained as. I’ve given this location multiple chances because it’s close to my house, but I’ve been disappointed more than once. The chicken is usually decent — good flavor and very crispy — but everything else has been hit or miss. The potato wedges were hard and inedible, the okra was soggy and bland, and the side portions are extremely small for the price.

After several letdowns, I probably won’t be back. It’s just not worth the money anymore.
