One of our favorite local restaurants is Shiraz! High-quality food, service and atmosphere. They source organic greens and meat without antibiotics or hormones, which is important to us. Our favorites are the sesame ginger salad, chicken, mahi-mahi, and salmon kabobs, as well as the sidewinder fries. They’re all so good! Highly recommend!
Shiraz is an amazing restaurant! The best Mediterranean grill in Louisville, hands down. I love the Holiday Manor location for lunch. Very busy and friendly place. But I love even more the Bardstown Road location - for dinner. Not many people eat in but I like it. Tonight I had the flavorful ground beef kebob, tzaziki, white rice, spicy ranch salad and humus. Came across this restaurant when visiting Louisville. Outstanding service and food. My mom hadn't ate Mediterranean before and was sold! She had the chicken Kabob and I had the salmon Kabob and the Greek salad--all wonderful and big portions!
Owner was hands on and genuine to help since I am Gluten Free. Don't pass this spot up! I'd recommend it to anyone and wish we had one back home in Michigan!!
