“This is the first time my partner and I have been to Louisville and we decided to stop by Meta. If you too decide to stop by you'll be met with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The bartenders were so chill and willing to work with us to get our drinks just how we'd like them. Nataleigh and Khryss were super awesome and made my partner and I feel so welcome! Thank you guys so much for making our time in Louisville that much better! We hope to see you again next time we visit!“

“This was a pretty neat experience, especially if you are a baseball fan. With your tickets, you are purchasing a tour of the Louisville Slugger facility to see how the many different bats are made from little league to the major league. You also have access to see a museum of the rich history of baseball and even have the opportunity to hold some of the bats used by many famous players. Even the great Babe Ruth. After the tour, we went next door for a bourbon tasting. The pours were nice sized pours, allowing you to try each one and even had the opportunity to use the bourbons in front of you to mix your own flavors. It was a unique, enjoyable experience.“

“Repeal is truly the spot for a special night out. It's our favorite restaurant, so it only felt right to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday here and they made it unforgettable. The atmosphere is moody and upscale, but still cozy and welcoming. The service is always impeccable, and the food... absolutely flawless. Every dish was rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The wine was just as impressive - balanced, creative, and strong in the best way. Repeal has been our go-to for date nights, but this visit reminded us why we keep coming back: it always feels like an experience. Thoughtful, consistent, and elevated in all the right ways. Highly recommend for any celebration, or just because.“

“The tour of the Michter’s Fort Nelson facility was informative and the tour guide was insightful and engaging. The tasting was enlightening because I wasn’t really a rye whisky person but after trying Michter’s Rye I was sold! I appreciated the veteran tour discount. My only disappointment was purchasing the limited edition barrel strength rye for $119+tax. I was excited to get my hands on this limited release. Unfortunately four hours later I found the same bottle at Krogers in Buckner for $85. So the gift shop charged 40% more than Krogers and I could have purchased four of them! I did buy two more as gifts. Disappointed that the Michter’s gift shop take advantage of their loyal customers by marking up their product so much yet sell to Krogers at a minimum of 40% less.“

“My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of doing the Bottle Your Own Bourbon experience at Angel’s Envy—and it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, the experience was incredibly immersive, fun, and memorable.

We were lucky enough to have Jeff as our distiller guardian, and he truly made our visit exceptional. Jeff was knowledgeable, passionate, and made the entire process so enjoyable. His enthusiasm and expertise elevated the experience and made us feel completely at home. We can’t say enough good things about him!

Getting to fill our own bottle straight from the barrel was such a unique and special moment—we'll treasure it (and the bourbon!) for a long time.

“We found this gem looking for a cigar lounge to relax. OH MY DEAR GOD how is this place not just packed to the gills with people. A large variety and eclectic bourbon. Friendly staff. You can buy hard to find bottles at damn near MSRP. Of this isn't on your list of to see places your missing out. We had a bourbon from 1940 and it was fantastic.“

“The food is always excellent, staff is always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy for a ‘fancier’ restaurant - never feels stuffy or pretentious. Love coming here for special occasions or when we just want to treat ourselves for date night.“

“We decided to try out the restaurant and I am so very happy we did. The mood is very relaxed and comfortable with large comfy chairs and even areas with couches for seating. Our server, Adam, was truly amazing and made us feel welcome and like a priority. We had a couple of the specialty cocktails and they were divine. The addition of the monogrammed large ice cubes was a great touch. The bread. The bread comes to the table with a tallow candle and lemon juice on the plate. It was truly delicious. All of us raved about our meals. The topper was dessert. The manager, Tim, let us know that the last piece of our first choice was not up to their standards. This is amazing. I love that the restaurant is keeping their food standards so high. Our second choice was still remarkable. This is definitely on my list for anyone wanting a great experience from food to ambiance to service.“

“We loooooove the Silver Dollar!! We're so happy that our favorite neighborhood restaurant has reopened. We are looking forward to trying all of their new menu items. My dog & I enjoy sitting out back on their cute patio & my son is addicted to the Chicken & Waffles. I'd highly recommend Silver Dollar to anyone who wants to refine their bourbon palate. We've been indulging in the $40 bourbon flight specials on Wednesdays. All the Silver Dollar bartenders are very demure, very mindful especially Jay! We loooooove Whiskey by the Drink“
