We went on a Thursday just after happy hour (6pm) and the place was packed! Also because they do trivia on Thursday. But a fun happy hip crowd! Luckily we got a booth. Nautical theme throughout this shotgun style bar/restaurant. You order at the bar, they give you a number and your drinks and food are brought to your table. Fun drinks and a variety of beers. We had a blast going here for the first time! The vibes were really good and the decor really makes you feel like you are on the high seas. Our group got a little bit of everything on the menu and it was all great. My personal favorite were the mini corn dogs and their selection of sauces. The oysters were great as well. We will be back for happy hour!
Best Oysters in town. Trust me. I love oysters and have had them several places in Louisville . YachtSea has the BEST!

YachtSea is a fun restaurant where the food is delicious, creative, and FUN. The menu includes items like kimchi fries, chicken noodle soup, Shark bites, and a Cheeseburger in Paradise. Many guests mention the Piña Colada and Bahama Mama cocktails are boozy and served in the proper glass. Happy Hour is amazing with $2 Oysters and $5 Martinis. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of seating, including booths and the bar. Parking is not too bad since it isn't in the middle of downtown. Prices are average or a little lower than. The food slaps and feels like everything is from scratch. The soundtrack in the bathrooms is unparalleled. YachtSea is a nice surprise in an environment where every restaurant feels like different variations of the same thing. It is weird in all the right ways. Guests say they will be back and will try to get others to try it out.
