Yummy Bowl (stir fry Mongolian grill and sushi)

My food was over cooked today. The eggs were burned. The only surviving item was the brockly. Very disappointed

I’ve eaten at Yummy Bowl many times over the past year, and it’s always been a great experience. That’s what makes this so disappointing.

On June 24th, I placed a pickup order around 3:30 PM. I decided to try the Spider-Man Roll for the first time (along with the side salad), and within hours I became violently ill. I’ve now spent the last 24 hours vomiting and feeling absolutely miserable.

This was also the only meal I ate that day, which is why I strongly believe it was related to this order. I obviously can’t say with certainty whether it was the Spider-Man Roll or the side salad, but those were the only new items I tried.

I’m not writing this to bash the restaurant because I’ve genuinely had great experiences here before. I just hope management takes this seriously and reviews their food handling, especially with ingredients used in the sushi. I wouldn’t wish the last 24 hours on anyone.

Food was delicious. Restaurant was tidy. The only issue, and it’s a big issue, was that their controls over food allergies are a little lacking. My wife put down that she had a pork allergy, but found sausage in her food. The reasoning was that the production staff didn’t speak good English, so that’s why they missed it.

This could have been a life threatening mistake, and there should be better safeguards for it.

I've been 3 times, I enjoy making my own bowl because you can pile it as high as you want as long as it's in the bowl and not on the tray. The cooks are amazing and my bowls have always been delicious. My only problem was sometimes the server forgot that we existed which sucks when you run out of something to drink. Definitely worth trying though.

Every Mongolian grill is going to be different in how they serve their food and this one is no different. Great vibes, great staff and the food is delicious. My only caveat is, I do wish there was more Ingredient options, especially when it comes to the protein options. Otherwise, its a solid grill!

This is one of the best places I’ve eaten. The sushi, fried rice, and ramen was high quality and delicious. Our service was excellent and fast, especially for a Friday night. Will return in the future!
