“This is a great neighborhood bar everybody makes you feel welcome. The food is good comfort type food proportions are good prices are reasonable. The coolest thing about this location is the music they bring in some great musicians. It's a small venue which sometimes makes it hard to watch the musicians but you can hear fine from anywhere in the bar. We visit the location frequently.“

“It was really busy for a Tuesday. Our food was excellent. Our waiter was good. Two comments to make: our poor waiter was stretched thin. Only 2 people were working to take orders. Second, the one good thing about the pandemic was the space between tables. Not any more. My husband and I got to listen to the conversations on both sides of us. Getting in and out was a struggle not to knock into our neighboring tables.“

“I've been a fan of Local Post since they first opened, and they never disappoint. My most recent visit was on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, where I enjoyed the patio and the rare treat of a weekday brunch. As someone with a nontraditional schedule, I love that they offer brunch during the week! Though I didn’t see a Bloody Mary on the menu, the bartender went above and beyond to make me one, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. I also ordered the brunch fries, which were spot-on. The service was outstanding—friendly, accommodating, and they really made me feel at home. The laid-back atmosphere and great vibes make Local Post a go-to spot for me.“

“Stumbled in this small corner local bar/restaurant.l after a Drs appointment down the street. Convenient on street parking til 3, weekdays. Parking lot in rear. Limited menu to keep costs down with daily specials. Service was very friendly. Prices were excellent. Party rooms for large groups. And they had Guinness!

Parking: We had the daily specials - fish sandwich and mushroom burger, both with fries.“

“This was an awesome laid back place on the river. Staff was super friendly, the owner was friendly, everyone was working their butss off. There is plenty of space if you have a big group. You can dock and get food also. Food was good. Their Cincinnati chili is legit and definitely worth making a trip here for. Watch the hill on the way in and out. It's a bit steep!

Parking: It is at the top of the hill so you have to go down the steps or the ramp in and out.“

“Hidden gem. Very good food, well seasoned and large portions. No real fajita or nacho options, which forced us try something new. Chimichanga and quesadilla la cumbre were excellent. Almost no one there so we parked right outside the door. Service was good and friendly. Minus one star because the menu prices weren't correct. We'll definitely be back.“

“We hosted a get together here and had a great time! Candace was so great to work with prior to the event and helped us organize drink tickets and a space for us for food. The day of the event, Brandy and Tommy (the bartenders) took great care of us and made sure everyone had a great time. This place is a hidden gem up on the hill with great staff, great bar selections, and a great atmosphere! We will be back.“

I saw this little joint with a back porch, camping type pavilion attached to a little oblong brick building that just looked like it wasn't for me.This place...It doesn't scream or pop out at you. It looks like it would be in one of my friends yard behind his house on the side of his garage.As I walked by....and past it, I saw "great food"!! In big letters painted on the side of the building. So I tryd em!... lol to see if they knew what they were talking about!.I serve my lord Jesus and don't really drink but I came for the food! And to test its words painted on the side of the building.Every one was nice! Everything was comfortable, everyone cared!... everyone knew each other and everyone let's you be!.... I couldn't belive it! I found a place to go be and eat and they let you be....if you leave hostility, hatred, ugly ness, and a disrespectful attitude at door..... You will have no problems here! I loved the people, I fell in love with the place!, you can be who you are! I think it's encouraged and probably the only way this bar and grill will have you.As soon as I came in, there was a veteran, and two others at the bar with a classic western playing on the tv and two sweethearts behind the bar.... it was laid back and quite for a Tuesday afternoon.During happy hr domestic beer is 2:50$ and I got a great double mushroom cheese burger for 6$The lighting was perfect! ....For a bar/grill. Right lighting with lamp and neon lights scattered throughout the restaurant and bar! The lights mixed well with the atmosphere splashing and filling up color, mood, and lighting over all the creveses, nooks, and crannys of the spaces in the restaurant bar and grill. If you want a bar and grill out of the movies... Here it is! I loved the assortment of signs, billboards, slogans and pic's all over the walls....Well I tell you the food was off the chain!. The hospitality on point and the price is right. it does not hit your pocket at all. The food says to the money! Get out of here.....I always am looking for a place to eat drink and socialize in peace, and in prosperity. to be myself at the end of the day!!!!....Besides Christ my lord and savior I Just want good food, at a great price! When I go out to eat!. I got more than that at jds honky tonk and emporium! It checked off every thing I quit looking for on my list now a days!!!...I'm always left wanting visiting a place. as i leave my mind is trying to point out the good pointers in a restaurant and bar and grill..... Well I just plane ol loved jds honky tonk & emporium.words fail but if you go! They'll accept you,you can be you, friendly, and you best belive you can get a great bite to eat! And drink.Seriously how can I tell you this food is worth trying and the place worth visiting! Weather you are rich and can't fathom going here, or poor and you think this place ant for you! every one in between..... The food was good... if you want good ol American cheeseburgers fry's and cheese steaks and food....try this place plus on Sundays every one is a Bengals fan. “I’ll be honest it’s not a bad spot to drink at and the owner has always been super kind to me. The food is decent and I’d recommend getting the platter after drinking on a night out if the friers are still on. I personally get the chicken tenders with nacho cheese and the occasional mozzarella sticks. Karaoke is fun and I’ve been a pool shark since mid-college. Rom even taught me how to play pool! Location was such a huge thing for me back then and it was a prime bar living in Aspen Pines. Now I unfortunately do not approve of certain things and numerous people who they chose to keep and allow to work behind the bar top. Especially with their track records. It is still a dive/pool bar at the end of the day so I just choose to avoid it at all costs now. As I was told as a little girl “birds of a feather do flock together.” which just means I’m just not in the same flock as them and I am A-OKAY with that currently. Plus there are plenty of other bars to attend in both Ohio and KY. It’s just a shame because I did really like it at one point in time. 💙 Just know if you’re down for a good time they do know how to party and I will always root for them at a safe distance. “Our 10th wedding anniversary was last Friday, 9/20/24, and I can not imagine a better way to have celebrated than the evening we spent here. From the low-lit, rustic atmosphere to the comfy chairs, you are encouraged to relax and unwind from the time you walk through the doors - just what we needed after our long days at work. The crab cake appetizer and both meals (pork chop for me, Trifecta burger for Hubs) were absolutely divine, and fabulous service was provided by the very entertaining Tim and his assistant, whose name I sadly am unable to recall a week later. I can say he was a fine young man who rolled right along with the flow of things and kept pace with Tim like a seasoned pro! We thoroughly enjoyed everything, and we will definitely be back soon!!“

“Visited after a Riverbend concert. The rush of people wrecked the servers for about an hour. There has got to be a better method of handling these spikes in attendance. They know it's coming after the big shows I'm sure...

“Awesome sports bar. It's always fun at Game Time. Great place to hang with friends, enjoy delicious food, and have some drinks. Good music and sometimes live music. Reasonable prices and great service. Plenty of TV's to watch whatever game interests you. They have some arcade games, a couple of pool tables, and a few dart games set up. They have a nice outdoor patio and sand volleyball set up out back. There's plenty of parking nearby and out front. The only negative thing I can say is that the bathrooms could use cleaning more. Sounds like any bar bathroom, though. Other than that, I love going here with friends on the weekends when we can all get together.“

“This has become our go to place for great food, entertainment and drinks! We visit a few times a week which is a bonus for me because I don’t have to cook?
The staff are always so friendly with great service and it honestly feels like family every time we visit! Any time we take our older children out this their choice as well! “Been going here for a long time, now; mostly carry-out. Real good food; gyros have generous amounts of meat in them. Service is good, and atmosphere is really great especially if you are into sports. However, food prices seem to have spike recently which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Overall, still a great place with a widely varied menu.“
