“This was my first time at Sonic. The ordering system wasn’t the best because the staff couldn’t really hear us and vice versa. The staff also didn’t repeat our order back to us, which resulted in them messing it up.

I would’ve left fewer stars if not for the way the manager really made things right for us. They quickly corrected the order, and even gave us a couple of coupons to make up for the mistake. Now that is exemplary customer service! I don’t know the name of the manager or I’d give them a personal shout out for doing a great job!

Even after this LJS location became co-branded with A&W in the early 2000s, the quality stayed the same. I highly recommend this place to travelers who come to this area, especially if they're seafood lovers. If you're an A&W fan, you'll definitely love the offerings under that brand, also.“

“I know the chain kinda went downhill because of the poor quality of some of their franchises (the one in our town was frankly nasty and went out of business), but the LJS in Cave City is an example of what all should be. Very clean; well-staffed; the orders filled promptly, correctly and delicious. Prices are higher but that's just everywhere.

I hate that this restaurant is 4 hours from us because I'd likely eat there frequently. It's the one place I've ever been able to get battered, not breaded, chicken.“
