I've only had better food at Hall's Chophouse [SC] and The Cellar [NC]. Not to mention Doe's Old Fashion was superb with Buffalo Trace. Not sure where the other reviews visited or what day but the steak was perfect, charred exterior and very tender with plenty of locked in juice, no hint of dryness. This place has a reputation for steaks and I must say the ones I saw parading out of the kitchen, looked big and beautiful. I had the local catfish. Two fillets, one grilled, the other fried. The fish was incredibly fresh. The broiled was flavorful and super flaky but the fried fillet was catfish perfection. Great crispy coating. That held the heat for a while on a cold night. I have eaten here several times. I have not had any bad experiences. I have lived in New Orleans in the past and I can say that they have done well. I like the spiciness of their dishes, just enough spice to drive home a kick. Keep up the good work.
