It’s the Colonel Sanders restaurant. Original Kentucky Fried Chicken and the sides. Amazing niche place to visit when in Kentucky. Chicken was crispy and juicy. Mashed potatoes had a little lump to them. I’m not sure why they put chocolate fudge pieces in the bread pudding, but it seems to be common in the area. One of the best sweet teas I had.
For those unfamiliar with Claudia Sanders' culinary offerings, this establishment is highly recommended. The recipes, attributed to Colonel Sanders' wife, are, in my opinion, superior. However, I encourage you to experience it firsthand and form your own assessment. I suggest the dinner buffet, which provides a comprehensive selection of traditional dishes, including stewed tomatoes, mashed potatoes, and fried chicken.
We had 9 people in our group. They sat us all at a table for 6 very crowded. Food ran out and had to wait for 10 minutes for them to bring out more. Waitress was good but didn't offer or bring fruit dish until asked about them. Very short staffed.
