To be fair, this restaurant was using paper products instead of regular, they were having internet issues so they could only take cash, or I would give it 5 stars snd I would've just gotten it to go if I wasn't just dying for a glass of wine. Our waitress was amazing (sorry I don't remember her name). My daughter ordered the seafood platter because we just moved here (she grew up in Cali, I grew up in KY) and she'd never had frog legs. Thursday evening after driving from the Dayton, Ohio area, we decided to have a nice meal. Blue Isle had good ratings and wasn't far from where we were staying so we thought we'd take a chance. If you are wanting true SOUTHERN FOOD you don't want to miss out on eating at Blue Isle. Some of the best fried chicken, greens, corn and cobblers I have ever eaten. "BRING YOUR APPETITE, IT'S A VERY NICE BUFFET STYLE" . The service is by far the best we have had in a long time. William was our server, he was so nice, polite and attentive. It was an enjoyable experience all around. We will definitely be back anytime we are near Winchester, Kentucky.
