“We went to Sonora this past Saturday and cannot express enough how awesome it was. Our waiter was PHENOMENAL. He was so sweet and took care of us as well as multiple other tables quickly and efficiently. I hope he knows how much we appreciate him and how nice he was to our little one. The Korean tacos with chicken are so good and their Birria is one of my favorite things to get. The taco salad was great as well. All of the food was hot and flavorful. We will absolutely be returning!”

“I went here today and it didn’t not disappoint. The tacos are amazing and I loved be the queso. The only thing I think they could improve on is the corn salsa. It was mostly just canned corn. With fresh corn and a little more pico to corn ratio, it could be as great as everything else there. Don’t get me started on the top shelf margarita. It was so much better than they typically are in Mexican Restaurants.”

“We had a date at Farmer's Daughter Coffee Company this morning. It’s a charming cafe in Flatwoods, KY, and was an easy 15 mile drive from our home. Worth the trip! Delicious food and coffees, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. They are known for their homemade poptarts, and I recommend trying the lemon blueberry - yummy! I’m excited to return. 😊🧋☕️”

The lady who took my order told me that if I didn’t like the drinks that I ordered she could remake something else I might would like instead as they are new and still trying to get the measurements right with the recipes but there was no need, they were so good! Slim Chickens has officially become my go-to spot for cheat day — except it barely feels like cheating because the food is just that fresh and high-quality. Sure, I load up on the calories (because how could you not?), but the ingredients are clean, the portions are generous, and I never walk away feeling gross or regretful.

Let’s talk sauce: their signature sauce, buffalo, and hot options are straight-up addictive. I could dunk pretty much anything in them and be happy — fries, tenders, napkins, whatever. And the mac and cheese? Easily some of the best in the area, and trust me, this town doesn’t play around when it comes to mac and cheese.

Service is always solid, food comes out hot, and I leave full and satisfied every time. If you haven’t tried Slim’s yet, you’re missing out. Cheat day or not, it hits every time.”

“Spur of the moment I stopped for my first visit. I asked if I could do the pumpkin brown butter sugar free. They didn’t have the brown butter in sugar free but she suggested sf hazelnut. This sweet girl was so patient with all of my questions and had great suggestions. My drink was sf pumpkin, sf salted caramel and oat milk iced. It was delicious. 10/10”
