“Our family loves Middendorf’s thin crispy fish. Tried new location Slidell. They have changed from a small or large size plate to one size. Did not lower the price. Ask waitress if enough for two to share “oh yes”. She brought out 3 pieces of fish. When I questioned this. She argued that is “by the weight” these two pieces of thin cut fish could have barely weight 2 oz. Should have been 10 oz. Finally got manager. He brought out 3 more pieces. Also saw another customer receiving a large helping (what we are use to at this restaurant ) the fish was cooked great. But I feel the waitress (did not refill drinks and we had to ask twice for crackers/ lemon) could have done better to improve the situation Gonna pass on returning”

“Had a fine meal here. Was driving through the area and needed some food. They do only take cash but have an atm (requires a pin.) I got the shrimp poboy and husband got the swamp fries. The poboy had good soft bread and a lot of well-crusted-but -not -so-much-you-can't-taste-the-shrimp shrimp. The swamp fries are swampy with a rich soupy gravy. Service was friendly and there are a few small front porch outdoor tables if you're still a person who eats outside. Recommend”

“I went here on my first stop on a long boat day. I ,of course, had to get a worm bucket and was not disappointed. then i got these glorious nachos that had a whole hamburger on top of it. after three worm buckets these nachos were exactly what i needed. the band there was great there also. the vibes here are just it. and if you eat your worm first in your bucket wyd?”

“Delicious crawfish and fried seafood platter :) the hamburger needed some more seasoning but the portions are great for the price.Everyone was very attentive to us and extremely kind. Definitely coming back for another visit when back in LA!!”
