I have always loved Middendorf. Today was my husband’s birthday & we drove from Baton Rouge to celebrate. I was really disappointed & have never been disappointed before. Our favorite is the thin fried catfish but this is the first time it had a strong fishy taste. At first I thought it might be just one piece but it was every piece. Where ever you purchased them go back to your old supplier.
We had a party of 12. Everything was excellent! Will definitely be back!!
Our family loves Middendorf’s thin crispy fish. Tried new location Slidell. They have changed from a small or large size plate to one size. Did not lower the price. Ask waitress if enough for two to share “oh yes”. She brought out 3 pieces of fish. When I questioned this. She argued that is “by the weight” these two pieces of thin cut fish could have barely weight 2 oz. Should have been 10 oz. Finally got manager. He brought out 3 more pieces.
