It was my wife’s birthday and we had a party for 5 for lunch. The service was slow to begin - waiting for some time before our server took our drinks order. When it arrived it was wrong for 5 out of 9 at our table. It then seemed an eternity before our food order was taken. The cook then decided to not only cook for 9 (I thought it was their policy to have only 8 at a table) but for an extra 3 ! My son in law had to wait extra time because they had forgotten his chicken. Overall...
It’s the only traditional Hibachi experience in town, so it remains a popular place for larger parties and special occasions. Wait time usually is short and food is great more times than not. I’ve had mixed experiences for sure, but nothing that would ever prevent me from going back. All in all, a very decent meal in Alexandria.
Sushi is good. Had teriyaki steak with rice...steak was very well done and rice was overly flavored with sauce of some kind. The waiter was great. Other than that unfortunately I won't be back.
