“I thought I posted a review back in June but I guess it didn’t go through so here it is again.-
Our monthly Bayou Girls Road Trip took us to the heart of Amite, LA, today for lunch at Nonna’s Soul Food Cafe. What a wonderful experience! The buffet offers so many wonderful choices of home-style made-from-scratch cooking. Some of our favorites were the roast beef, rice and gravy, seafood lasagna, fried fish, red beans and rice, smothered squash, candied yams and peach cobbler!! Delicious!!
One of the highlights of our trip was to meet & visit with Nonna, the owner and cook! This lady shows her love for God in her speech and actions. She made us feel more than welcome. We look forward to going back.“
