Koi Sushi Restaurant Reviews
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Koi has the best kung pao chicken in the world. Soooo good. I moved far away a decade ago, and I still try to come back to Koi anytime I’m in town. I’m always delighted to see the restaurant still open for business. Be warned it is spicy, but I love that. It is one of my top 5 restaurant dishes of all time (and I eat more in a month than most people do in a year!)
My friend and I called and got sushi ordered for pick up. It was my first time trying any sushi from this location. I got their Shrimp Tempera sushi, California Rolls, Sushi Eggrolls, and fried rice. Koi is always a rememberable Chinese restaurant providing yummy authentic Chinese food. It is quite near the LSU campus so very walkable for a lunch/dinner if you are at LSU. Sadly though it was closed early this year where I heard the rumor that the chief chef had retired and his son did not want to follow his father's footstep to become a terrific chef at Koi. I just finger crossed that one day there would be another sweet Chinese restaurant at the same location!
