I am a long time customer and I ordered the taco Delmar to go today……I had 3 shrimp on my shrimp taco and six crawfish tails!!! I gave the no so shrimp taco to my dog that’s why it’s not featured. The avocado was brown as dirt, and there was no Cotija cheese on the taco at all!!! $33 Dollars just thrown in the trash 🤬

We love Mestizo Louisiana Mexican restaurant, a family owned establishment with a unique combination of flavors. The flavors are Mexican with a Cajun influence. The atmosphere is casual but upper class and comfortable. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

Mezitos Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care — everything we ordered was outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant is clean and comfortable, which made the whole experience even better.

What truly made our visit exceptional was our server, Blake. He was wonderful — attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed and really added to an already great meal.

Highly recommend Mezitos for both the food and the fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing staff and food! Chef was extremely helpful in ensuring our dietary requirements and restrictions were met. He even came out to talk to us. We also did a large to go lunch order and couldn't be more pleased with the food and staff! Highly recommend this gem!
