This was an excellent coffee shop! I got the green tea tropical with cantaloupe syrup and mojito syrup. Let me tell you, this was the best drink I have ever had. I also got a macaroon. Yummmmmmm! The service was excellent. The lady at the desk told me about the sweetener she used which I ended up getting. She was so right. This was one of the nicest waitresses I have ever met. This was such a cozy and comforting place. This would also be a good place to stop and work at. So much better than Starbucks. I will stop by every time I am in the area!

Got the Iced Honey Velvet Latte (or something like that) & it was delicious! Service was great & took no time at all.

Love PJs! It is super convenient to anyone staying in downtown Baton Rouge who wants quick but delicious coffee and pastries. The staff was very friendly (we laughed because I kept coming in multiple times per day- girl needs caffeine~!) If you're there around Mardi Gras, try the king cake flavored coffee drinks!

drove out of my way to come get a coffee after work, and they were closed. despite the store hours being stated online open until 6pm, they are apparently only open until 5pm. very disappointed, please update ur hours. respectfully, that was a waste of time.

The ambiance and service are the best! This PJs is managed very well. It's one of the reason I return. Additionally and more important is the staff. They're always helpful and friendly.

Went there yesterday (12/29/23) between 3-4 pm. Ordered our drinks and after we paid we found king cake coffee pods so went back to the counter to buy them. The person working sold them to us for about $11 and after we had paid she said she charged us for the wrong thing and said it was actually $8 more. We were caught off guard so we paid the difference in cash after she said it would be too complicated to refund and redo the order. We felt weird about the experience so today, at a different pj’s shop, we asked how much the king cake coffee pods were and they told us $11! A scammer works here!

Coffee choices diverse, pastries average, prices moderate, friendliness below par ( we went 4 days in a row bc it was across from our hotel in walking distance)-BEWARE check dates on chips they were 6 months old we had to spit them out ( we were there Thanksgiving weekend and these were dated August and another bag May. When I told them the next day they looked and noticed they had a bag with May but no refund offered. Service lacking. Ambiance was typical of a small coffee shop-cleanliness lacking .

I really appreciated this coffee shop, for the vibe it had, the friendly customer service, as well as the good coffee. Will definitely be returning!

Closed at 2pm on Sunday, but Google and the PJs website said they closed at 5pm. Waste of time.

PJ’s is an inviting coffee shop just down the street from our hotel. Staff was very friendly and efficient. I came here every day during my stay in Baton Rouge for my morning vanilla latte and scone or muffin. The latte was hot and delicious with a the right amount of vanilla flavoring. The blueberry scone was excellent; I did find the muffin a bit dry. Wish there was a wider selection on the pastries. My friends and I found the café a bit chilly so we enjoyed our breakfast outside.

Great breakfast sandwich, chocolate filled croissants and coffee. Tina was also very kind. If I visit BR again, I'd be sure to stop by here!

Visited morning of April 15, there appeared to be some sort of internal company dispute. There was a couple outside talking to security guard and the couple said to me "Don't go in there it's a mess with an ex-employee." There was no mess, at least not physical mess. I could tell the lady behind the counter was flustered. While inside I place my order, the employee was polite, professional and quick in serving me. The uncomfortable experience continued when a third security guard showed up and advised the employee to leave the premises as she was disturbing the peace. I didn't witness or experience her disturbing the peace, rather the couple outside of the shop causing disruption.
