5 Best Pubs in Baton Rouge

“Our table had the fried Mac and cheese and cheese curd poutine. Both were very good. We also had the dlfosh and chips and the grilled cheese with tomato basil. Again, both of those dishes were great. However, I ordered the Irish stew and was very disappointed. It came in a bowl and the gravy was not gravy or stew like but a thin broth. Not what I consider stew, but soup. It also had 4 small pieces of beef and maybe three carrots. The rest of the bowl was just potatoes and it was served with a side of mashed potatoes. I also got a large hunk of bread. Avoid this dish unless you want potato soup in a thin beef broth.“
