I wasn't the biggest fan of the food. I also wasn't impressed by how much of the food had sold out 3 hours before closing. Though the lady behind the counter was so kind & knowledgeable.
I asked about the size of oxtails and the response was a bit attitudal but understanding in a sense. Customer service is subpar meaning it depends on their mood. Food is good but service takes away from overall experience. People want what they want to pay for and if they want to pay extra then you should be willing to accept but the fact that they actually want to serve everyone is admirable….even if they only have a handful of customers on some days.
It was my first time here, and I have to say I was really impressed! The service was super quick and nice, food was really good. Personally, I really enjoyed the oxtail and jerk chicken. If you’re into rum cake, theirs is really moist (and quite rummy).
The place is near downtown though, so be aware that parking is limited.
