My friends and I went to SoLou for a little after work girl gab session and while waiting for them to arrive I noticed someone walk in from the patio with two large white dogs. I’m all for animal friendly restaurants but then I saw the man bring the dogs behind the bar into the servers station where the kitchen is. I don’t think dogs belong anywhere near the kitchen in a restaurant. The man could have walked through the restaurant to the front door.

We’re in town for bowling and found this great spot by chance. Fantastic spicy gumbo and sweet crab and corn chowder! The truffle Mac and Cheese was delicious and creamy and everything was piping hot! I didn’t get our bartenders name but he was super attentive and made delicious cocktails. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived but was full by the time we left. Great atmosphere, music was just right.

Erin, Kelsey, Shelly, and Cat were amazing! We had a Christmas party that went from 20 people initially to 40 people and they adjusted and made it wonderful! A week later and everyone is still talking about how great the service, atmosphere, and food all were. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
