“Had a good experience visiting the store today. The employees were very nice, welcoming, and helpful, which made my visit enjoyable. I did notice however that there was some cursing being used in the environment coming from a young lady with glasses while the rest were working. While it didn’t take away completely from the positive service, I feel the atmosphere would be even better if the language stayed more professional. Overall, I appreciated the service and friendliness from the staff! Will visit again“

“Was supposed to pick up the last king cake they had....was on my way to get it after getting another flavor from another place....got to Wooden Spoon and someone sold my cake. I was on my lunch break and didnt have time to go back to the other place and get one i would have gotten there if i hadnt committed to pick the one up at Wooden Spoon ....Duane asked what he could do to fix it. I jokingly said he could go get a cake at the other place and bring it to my work....he was like...ok....and that's exactly what he did...wow...dont get that kind of customer service everywhere. This was my first dealing with Wooden Spoon but wont be my last. Very impressed.“

“I drove down Airline Drive to the Bossier store and discovered that Buttercups had relocated to a new location, inside a restaurant. That seemed odd but I like the cupcakes and I wanted them for a gift. It feels awkward walking into one business to get to another and the entire feel of the store is now different. It's darker. It doesn't have the light, airy feel of a candy store or ice cream parlor. The staff is still very friendly and helpful and the cupcakes are still excellent but it's a different shopping experience. I personally prefer the Shreveport location.I noticed another review complaining about flies. I noticed one single fly. Just one but yes, it was flying from cupcake to cupcake. I'm not sure this can be avoided entirely.“

“Me and my toddler stop by here at least once a week mostly on the weekends and this place does not disappoint! My 3 year old can eat half a dozen in one sitting if I let him…Every single time we come in, we’re always greeted by smiling faces as they’re helping customers. There is almost always a short line on the weekends but it moves very quickly. I’m so glad they opened up on this side of town. Definitely our go to donut spot!“
