This is a huge store. Everything is wide and spread out, it's a good thing. Despite covid, they have a pretty decent supply. They actually have individual slots in the refrigerators for the drinks.
This is NOT the Kroger of my youth! Kroger merged with Fred Meyer (of Pacific Northwest popularity) in 1998, and I see some of that influence over this store in a lot of ways. My family were Kroger regulars when I was growing up as it was low cost, no frills, straight groceries and nothing else except school supplies. I shopped at this Krogers on Friday January 16, 2021 between 2:30 and 3:30 in the afternoon. In the produce department there were only 2 or 3 available places to get bags to put the produce in. Most of them were empty. At check out there were only 2 cashiers with huge lines and it appears the manager was one of the cashiers. It took more than 30 minutes to check out.
