Had a delicious dinner tonight at Silo’s BBQ & Comfort Food, and I’m so glad we stopped in! The food was fantastic and the service was just as wonderful everyone was so friendly, and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tesha, who was incredibly welcoming and passionate about what she’s building here.

Silo’s BBQ & Comfort Food in Bossier City, LA is a new family owned business, open about 3 months as of January 2026. The pork ribs are something special, among the best. The brisket is thick cut, tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with a good smokey flavor, so tender it can be cut with a fork. The sausage is unique, sautéed and caramelizing the barbecue sauce. The barbecue sauce is a real winner, a tangy sauce that is spot on, not typical sweet Kansas style. Fries are fresh cut. The brownie is also incredible, clearly scratch made and incredibly tender. Overall quality is quite good, and every single plate is singularly made. The service is very friendly, wonderful, and professional. As a new restaurant, there may be some initial operating hiccups, so plan a little time. They are still working on branding and signage, but trust that they are open. Highly recommended, you can’t go wrong ordering anything on the menu.
