“What an absolutely delightful place. Please only go if you have the time to sit down and fully enjoy your experience. Jacqueline is a treasure. We learned about her travel from France to the US. She has also lived in both Alaska and Key west. Every meal is cooked to order by her. We enjoyed the Coquille STJaques and a French onion Soup. The Coquille was rich, flavorful, with a ton of seafood and a crunchy au gratin top. The onion soup was equally flavorful and probably the largest crock we had ever seen. Served with a hot flaky baguette.“
“The crepes are delicious! I was in the area for a week long conference, staying nearby and found this hidden gem. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Coming from the Midwest to Louisiana for the first time, this was a highlight for me. The fruit crepes are amazing too.Definitely check it out! Your tastebuds will want you to come back over and over again!!“

“?????⚪️Chez Jacqueline is an essential restaurant for eating French like your grandmother did.Not really a menu, she prepares what she has in stock at 79 years old and over 45 years old in the US!I had the right to a salad, a little greenery doesn't hurt, with its secret sweet sauce. Then rabbit in red wine, it’s been a long time since I’ve eaten it.She serves all this with a whole hot baguette and butter. It’s very good, rustic family cooking.“
