“I’m new to the area and have already been to Tim’s Kitchen five times — three times for takeout, once dining in, and twice placing orders for pickup, including this past Sunday. Each visit, the customer service has been outstanding — always attentive, warm, and genuine. Tim greets you as soon as you walk in and knows his customers by name, making every visit personal and welcoming. The hospitality extends to his staff too — everyone makes you feel right at home. So far, I’ve had the barbecue twice, gumbo four times, fried shrimp, and the fried fish plate with étouffée, all with delicious sides, including great potato salad, which is hard to find. It all comes with that soft homemade bread, the perfect touch to any meal. And let’s talk about the desserts — I’ve had the wedding cake twice now, plus the red velvet, and both are the best I’ve had so far in Acadiana. Even my family members who were visiting couldn’t get over how good these homemade cakes are. I’ve also tried the chocolate chip doozie and the chocolate doozie with whipped cream (which was recommended by his wife — and what a great recommendation!). I have so much more to try at Tim’s, and I’m really looking forward to my next visit!“

“We were traveling through and really pleased with our choice. Would have liked to have enjoyed a cocktail (loved that the menu was entitled “Spiritual Guidance” 😊) but because we still had another hour of driving, sadly had to abstain. The young man at the host station was the very definition of Southern Hospitality, quickly finding a solution to my query of needing to charge my cell phone.
We would definitely make a point to dine here again, should we be passing through on our 6 week journey from WNY.“

“Tried this spot for the first time and it was delicious and hot. Pasta was creamy just like I like it, potato salad was good too. Didn’t have to wait very long either, customer service was cool too, sometimes you try a food truck and the staff are rude but I did not get that experience here. She talked me through the menu and smiled while she talked to me. Will be back soon“

“Looking for a 'Sports Bar' this popped up. Third on our list, but the first two were busts, so we slide on by.
Definitely NOT what I'd call a sports bar. We have time, order Sazeracs, try the Happy Hour Gumbo, later have their generous $5 House Old Fashioneds.

Everything was good, but the Gumbo was heavenly. Worth the trip just for that. Dark brown flavor filled broth, nicely shredded duck & slices of andouille. Perfection.
Had to move on for Seahawks, though.“

“I saw someone made a comment on Facebook about this place saying “The biscuits taste like God himself rolled the dough” so we decided to give this place a try and OMG I’m so glad we did. The food here was sooo good. When it hit the table I forgot to take a picture of our food 😂❤️ -100/10 recommend!“

“Went for our lunch today while out in town and was very disappointed. We really wanted some good charbroiled oysters and got garbage instead. Our oysters were served to us luke warm and didn't look or taste "charbroiled" at all. The stuffing that came on top of mine was cold in the middle and the sauce that came with it on the side was cold as well. Ive never in my life been served cold cooked oysters! Absolutely disgusting. Won't be back. Years ago when I came everything was good but now its a big no for me. Disappointed amd dissatisfied after this lunch. O and let me not forget to mention our waitress was very unattentive and never came check on us after we received our food. So that made the experience suck too!“

“We had a wonderful evening at POUR Restaurant & Bar in Lafayette. Our server, Isabelle, was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made the night feel special. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful weather while sipping cocktails (1942 Old Fashioned, Conundrum and Scout’s Honor red blends), sharing the Baked Brie appetizer, Grilled Chicken Breast entrée, and finishing with the Molten Chocolate Cake. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Mom used to take us often when we were kids. Piccadilly is nostalgia you don’t want to miss. As many people as there were on this Thanksgiving day, every employee was polite and helpful with smiles! Turkey and dressing was great. You can’t miss the Mystery Pie- ( made with Ritz crackers)- same taste since childhood! Thank you Piccadilly for making a great Thanksgiving for me and my husband !“
