“My husband and I met Rose in 2006 while working in the parish after hurricane Katrina. At the time. She was cooking her great foods in a shed along the road. Sweetest person ever. She always made sure my husband and I had a nice lunch. She saved us a plate. Her red beans and rice were so good. We paid her double...I would sure like to come and have a plate again...it's on my bucket list...”
