“Working in the area and I tell you with Ann's opening for breakfast is a lifesaver. Nothing else in the area is open at 4 in the morning. Warm welcoming environment. Texas toast with bacon, sausage, egg and cheese omg.. Thanks ladies we will definitely be back!! Oh and did I mention free coffee ☕️ on the house....we've told coworkers about the restaurant also they're coming also!”

“Dinner after work. Bywater has beautiful setting on the water. Tables and chairs are laid out for people to enjoy. Food was made to order. I had their shrimp po'boy, and it was delicious. Fries were crispy and fresh. There were four ladies working the bar and the tables all together and I don't think anyone could complain about service. Waitresses were very attentive to everyone. This is a new place for me to relax after work. FYI, there are piers that you can fish from, and bait is available.”

“Life is Good at The Ponderosa!Drove down from New Orleans with a large group this weekend. Cold beer, good drinks and the freshest oysters and seafood you can imagine. But what else would you expect when you're dockside at the marina.Freshly shucked oysters opened at the Oyster Bar, Grilled Oysters on the Half Shell, Fried Oysters to go with our Onion Rings, and fried Softshell Shrimp!But as good as the food was, the service was better: and the food Was Good! There were other large tables and plenty 2 and 4 tops, but the food and drinks flowed on and off our table. Looking forward to my next trip Down River to The Ponderosa...”

“Nice little hole in the wall place. If you blink you'll pass it. Probably some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Ordered a cheese burger with a side of onion rings! Really good burger but the onion rings were the best! Some of the best onion rings I've ever had! Will be backKid-friendliness: Kids cartoons were on TV while I was there!”
