“The food was excellent, homestyle cooking. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, interacted well with customers, and they provided excellent service, everytime I visited the restaurant. It is very family welcoming. The place is very clean. Can complete with any restaurant all round.

“We stumbled upon Gus’s after shopping at the outlets on Riverwalk. The reviews were strong and fried chicken sounded perfect for lunch. Their chicken is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had at a restaurant! It was also a great price - and for those who have visited NOLA before, you know it can be a pricey city! You must try it!“

“Perks Cafe has some of the best food I've eaten in a restaurant. There's many food options and everyday of the week has an special! The honey cornbread is my absolute favorite!! The workers are super friendly and make sure your well taken care of. The owner, Capt. Perky, is an amazing person that is full of joy and passion! He offers other Captains an 10% discount! Overall great people, best food, and pocket book friendly!“
