“Only reason they are getting 4 stars is because the food I had on my visit just wasn't very good.Now it was a lunch special and I've always heard good things about this place. But the gravy was terrible and the cornbread needs help. (I was told to get a different gravy next time. )We were offered our money back but we refused the offer. He liked his and I know I'm just picky.I will give them another shot. Because the staff was great. The offered to fix it, they offered every solution to rectify the situation.But I refused. I was already a good way into the food. And didn't feel like it was just so terrible that i needed a refund.Keep up the wonderful customer service!“

“Honestly its a pretty descent place, and convenient. Its right by the water with a boat ramp where you can launch your boat, there's a gas pump thing on the pier to fill your boat up, and they have a lot of stuff you could need while fishing, like ibuprofen or Tylenol, life jackets, baits, shirts, drinks, icee's, snacks, etc. Sitting outside by the water was pretty nice. I got a cheeseburger and it was good“

“We visit Jimmie Davis State Park three times at year. Caney Lake Landing is best place to eat. I love the shrimp and onion rings, they are so delicious. My husband likes the huge loaded hamburger and onion rings. Brooke and BJ are doing a great job!“

“The food is alright, but I really didn't like the fish. Other than the fish, the rest was good. The boat launch there has a wooden walkway/pier and it has cracks and a nailed down board on it from where it broke, and it's honestly kind of sketchy.. but we launch our boat on it all the time and never have any problems with it so I guess its ok..“
