“The restaurant is beautiful! Great open space with an amazing atmosphere. I had a wonderful drink, MAD House Pineapple Margarita (spicy). I also had the Chocolate Lava Cake and enjoyed every bit. I regret not getting a photo. They brought us a sample of the bread pudding and it tasted so delicious. My friend had a Filet and it looked perfectly cooked. I’m not a meat eater but all my friends enjoyed the steak. We definitely will be returning for more dinners!! Love this place and I highly recommend it!! ?❤️“

“We stopped here because we were in town for an event. We ordered the spicy fried pickles and they were amazing. We had burgers, but they weren’t anything to write home about. I had the MVP burger, which is their build your own burger, with lettuce, pickle, tomato, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese with a side of onion rings minus the bun. The bartender brought me onions instead of tomato so I had to ask for the tomato. My husband had the royale burger with fries. The fries tasted like they were hand cut, but had no seasoning. My onion rings were your standard run of the mill thin cut onion rings. The staff was pleasant and courteous appeared to have a good atmosphere TVs on the college ball games. There may have been something wrong with the AC as they had some large fans blown. If we lived in the area, I could see us going back, but unless there is a reason for us to go back to El Dorado, I can’t see us specifically driving the hour or so from where we live in Louisiana to have it again.“

Everything I have had here is delicious. The place is small but it’s worth the wait. I forgot to take pics because I was too busy eating but I managed to snap a half eaten pancake before she finished it“

“I was a little confused by a lady wearing a purse seemingly like a guest to seat us. The room is small and packed with tables. The both seats had low backs. It was loud like a cafeteria. I could not hear our waitress. Its not very private. The food and the service was amazing! I'd go back maybe for lunch next time.“

“The fish was some of the best I have had. Big thick pieces that were well prepared. The onion rings were about the worst I have had. Not at all crisp, and very thin. I had been told their rings were top notch. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. The fried okra was about average. I ordered Mountain Dew and arrived home to find it was Mello Yellow or some such knock off. I would not have ordered it if I had been told no Mt. Dew.All in all, great fish, all else average for a cafe of this sort. Think of it as an up scale McDonalds.“

“We ate here tonight and it did NOT disappoint AT ALL! My husband had the meatloaf with the cabbage. He said they were both EXCELLENT! I had the chicken Alfredo and it was the best I have ever had! Of course we had to get the bread pudding to go! Just here for the week. Live in southeast Texas close to the La border, so we like well seasoned food. This is it! Ask for Mike when you go in and tell him his patrons from Texas recommended his place!“
