“We stopped here while traveling through after a winter storm, and they were one of the only places open. We were so impressed and happy with the stop! Absolutely delicious food and great service! The sweet potato fries were amazing, along with the pork sandwich and turkey club!“

Don’t miss this place on your way to the Ouachita River. After the railroad tracks, there is a great viewing area on the right! The train may cruise through suddenly and you’ll get a little thrill, we’ll out of harm’s way. Just slightly east of the boat ramp, the Ouachita River walk trail.“

I have sampled most of the menu, and can say everything is quality home cooking. 12/10 would insist you stop by if you are in the area. Even if your not hungry then, you can just pick up meats by the pound for later! (I would call first, it goes quick!)“
“The service was great, the whole place was clean. I like my food a little less greasy and the bacon a thicker cut, but they cooked it just the way I asked and my man's eggs were just how he liked them over medium and the whites fully cooked.“

“On multiple occasions, I have really enjoyed the cheeseburger (juicy)and sour cream french fries. I've always found a clean table, but at times, the parking space is limited. I'm taking away a star today because the burger wasn't juicy as in the past. Note: Someone once told me the burgers are especially good after 4pm.“
“We both ordered the petite filet mignon with golden roasted potatoes and sides of asparagus and wasabi coleslaw. Had the mushroom risotto balls appetizer and two garden salads. I must say the steak was the BEST we’ve had in quite awhile. We ordered our steaks medium rare and that is exactly what we got to perfection. The steak cut like butter also. Keep up the good job. The waitress was really attentive and sweet also.“
“Great lunches of salads, soups, and sandwiches. There is also a daily special. We had the chicken salad and strawberry nut salad. The food was delicious, service was very good, and we had a private room for out of town guests to join us. We will return soon!!“
