“Super good and inexpensive food. I ordered the fish sandwich, which came with fries for around $5 - more affordable than fast food. Onion rings and Mac and cheese were also excellent, though the Mac serving was a little smaller than expected. If you don’t use the drive through, expect to wait in a small building with a kitchen and counter. Lot parking.“

“My first time today. Can’t believe I waited so long to try it. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I got the red beans and rice with sausage and the turkey necks. The turkey necks was absolutely delicious. The strawberry shortcake was perfect!!! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.“

“Every time I pick food up here. The staff is friendly, the food is hot. It doesn't take too long for orders to come out. My favorites are the Philly cheese steak, hamburger, and catfish. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10 times. I'm happy I was adventurous enough to stop one day to eat here. It's my go-to spot.“

All the sides looked wonderful, and between the two of us, hubby and I sampled the mashed potatoes, rice, gravy, green beans, Mac and cheese, mustard greens, and yams. The eggs Benedict … this delicious golden yolk cascaded down, mingling with the silky thyme hollandaise to infuse into the soft English muffin…. Absolute delish!!! 2. The shrimp and grits …. Perfectly cooked spicy shrimp with Gouda grits was a testimony to why southern Louisiana cuisine reigns supreme …. And the Monica sauce elevates it to elegance while still your tummy is pampered with down home comfort. 3. The fried fish! This is a chef’s secret because it was not traditional fried fish. Whatever the secret, it delivered scrumptiousness in every crispy tender bite! Oh and don’t forget the homemade tartar sauce! 4. …… and the perfectly cooked Prime Rib! with the amazing horseradish sauce to complement … definitely a show stopper 5. The ambiance…. The service as always great …..Which seems to be part of the family atmosphere….. and the soft jazz …..taking it from just dining with family to Mother’s Day memories“

“Coming from the east coast we were dying to have a good sub. We were spoiled with Publix subs (IYKYK). Poboy express came highly recommended by locals and we tried it today for lunch! Absolutely did not disappoint! Jimmy the owner was so welcoming and helped direct us to the exact sub we were looking for! I got the super Cajun and my husband got the rajun Cajun! They were fantastic! Cat fish was so fresh and the homemade tater sauce with delicious! Oh and the fries..one of a kind! Don’t skip the fresh baked cookies!!! Jimmy made sure we were throughly satisfied and takes so much pride in his business! It really shows! We will be back!“

Upon entering, our host was a young man that sat us down at a table that needed to be clean instead of letting us sit at the tables all around it that was already clean. Our waitress was friendly & fast. It did not take long for our appetizers to come out with our entrées being delivered right after. Our food tasted great, my chicken & shrimp with mashed potatoes, & double steamed broccoli was delicious. As I was only passing through while traveling, this Applebee's was exceptional from the moment we sat down until the moment we left.

“I had a hanker'n for a Po'boy as I passed through Louisiana. So I swung in to Lou & Laura's "Home of the Original Po'boy". Well. It was accidental that I stopped there since Id actually came via my maps app to visit the Po'boy shop next door. I decided, lets give Lou & Laura a shot and see what they were rocking in the form of a Shrimp Po'boy. Well, it was perfectly loaded with fresh veggies, crispy fried shrimp and tasty mayo sauce on a hoagie roll. It was quite good. The young fella at the counter was quite pleasant also. Great place. Give Lou & Laura's a try.“

I have only eaten at the waffle house once, but I would eat here again and again.

Our server from Tunk's told us this is the breakfast place in Alexandria. This place didn't disappoint, and the food came out hot and fast.

It's a little honky-tonk for me, and that's why the atmosphere rating is low. Everything else is amazing... especially the food!!!“

“I recently visited this place for the first time on Friday night I was greeted by a hostess who's seemingly appeared to be here for a long time I'm not sure but I was greeted in the most professional way and seated in the area they gave me prompt delivery as the place was very crowded which is a good sign thank you to The Host I believe her name was Dina don't know where she came from but I suggest you guys keep her she gave me a wonderful experience from the door coming in to the door coming out thank you Ms Dina I hope you had a good night“
