“Walk-On’s Alexandria is my favorite restaurant in the area. Whether you are hungry for a salad, appetizer, dessert, entree, or all of the above, Walk-On’s has the best variety and most delicious food! Personal favorites: spinach & artichoke dip, lemon butter chicken, ribeye po-boy (extra garlic aoli), and chocolate chip cookie sundae. This review would not be complete without a shout-out to my favorite, friendly servers and managers: Kip, Chris, Maddie C and Jacob S - ALWAYS attentive, efficient, and kind! “Everything is awesome here, except the gumbo…the gumbo is gross (i.e. flavorless) and too expensive for its quality, drive a bit further in either direction and you’ll definitely find better. The chicken cracklins’ are second to none! Do stop. Don’t order the gumbo…unless they’re touting a new recipe.“
