The menu on the website is way out of date!! the seafood platter that says 8.49on the website menu is now 13.99. the overstuffed shrimp po boy that was 5.99, is now 11.99. they need to update their website. Their food is very good, but money is tight. Try to lower the prices some please!!!”

I ordered the hamburger and my husband had the soft shell crab poboy. We both had sweet potato fries. The food was hot and delicious. We will be returning.”

“We have frequented Amore for many many years, even in their old location off state and jaq back in the day. We absolutely love the food. Service is a hit or miss depending on the server. Never completely terrible or anything just sometimes hard to wait on everyone at rush time when there may be only one server.”

“I’ve been eyeing this food truck for a while on social media and finally had the chance to try them. We went on a Wednesday evening for dinner. I originally wanted the crawfish pie fries but they sold out, and for good reason because they looked delicious. I got the beef and cheese fries which were still really good. I enjoy the fries because they’re 1. Krinkle cut and 2. Not fried hard. I like a good balance of soft but crispy fries and these were great. The burgers were also delicious. I got the Spicy Mammy (sp?) one and it was really good! The beef was cooked perfectly, not overdone and dry. This is exactly what I think of when I want a good greasy burger. It’s not something I can have often due to not wanting my doctor to be mad at me if my cholesterol or triglycerides go up. But when I can get my hands on it, I’ll get it every now and then. Great job!”

“Only thing is to say it was an expensive lunch. Good thing it was while on vacation. Food was great. No complaints about the service. I would have preferred a Cajun, Creole or Zydeco music to the modern stuff. My order consisted of unsweetened ice tea, Boudin egg rolls, pecan pie and the Sampler (etoufee', gumbo, and red beans & rice). They close at 2:30pm.”

“Been on a plate lunch tour and heard about ZZ’s from one of the foodies blogs. Went today and had smothered beef steak, corn and white beans. The steak was smothered in tons of onions which I love and you could tell the sides were fresh and cooked down properly. Awesome!!!”
