This place is very beautiful the decoration and set up is stunning. I love our Mexican food and culture. Once you walk in you are met with a friendly atmosphere. The ladies in front are very polite and friendly. Great hospitality and good food combination choices. The guacamole is delicious, including the red salsa. Came around father day but still got my food in a timely manner. If you’re a traveling truck driver, like myself definitely stop in for a bite.
Best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. I had the shredded beef chimichanga. The beef was juicy and melted in my mouth. Tres leche cake was divine. If you live in the area, you certainly have a gem with this restaurant.
I have been going to El Rancho since I moved to Denham Springs back in 2008 and I frequent there once a week or twice a month til I moved away in July 2023 (and I cried too! lol). This place is consistently delicious and they have THE BEST chicken fajitas, enchiladas, and tamales. Their chilaquiles are too die for…their burritos ughhhh so good. Omggggg and don’t even get me started on the queso (with ground beef for me) or their bean dip… their bean dip is something else!!
