“My husband and I went last night for an early Valentines dinner. We loved the small, yet quaint dining room, the atmosphere was perfect, the playlist for the background music was on point, Zack was our waiter and he was top notch. The food was AMAZING!! It is my new favorite date night restaurant. The new owners are very friendly and they are hands on. 10/10“

“Superb Italian food . We stopped driving to New Orleans for Italian when we found Fratelli’s. Owner is excellent at finding a wine to match your dish and your palate at reasonable prices never stops surprising us with wine we have never experienced at reasonable prices.“

Just had an incredible reunion with some of the old Louis D’Angelo’s crew, and where else could we have possibly gathered but the new local gem Bistro Italia in Baton Rouge? Let me tell you—this place didn’t just live up to the legacy… it grabbed the torch and sprinted with it. The food? Absolutely delicious. You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite—just like the good old days, but somehow even better. The service? Top-notch. Friendly, fast, and made us feel like we were family (or maybe just regulars they actually like—kidding, kind of). Big kudos to the team at Bistro Italia for creating a warm, welcoming spot with flavor and charm. If you’re in Baton Rouge and craving Italian done right—go. Go now. Order everything. “Had a great experience here today. The soup, salad, and breadsticks lunch was superb. The Zupps Tusacana soup was perfect, the salad was plentiful and well dressed, and the breadsticks were warm and fresh. Richard was an excellent waiter. He was attentive, highly responsive, and completely on the ball. I would recommend going here for lunch anytime!“

“Great service. Greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Server was at our table as soon as we sat down to take our drink orders. Checked back to see if we were ready to order. Food was hot fresh and made to order and delivered very quickly. Will definitely have to come back here again.“

“The appetizers were awesome! The next time we go we will order from the appetizers and split them. Eggplant parmesan was absolutely amazing! The complimentary bread seasoned with olive oil, herbs and parmesan cheese was the best I have ever had. I was disappointed in the Chicken Marsala. It was bland and lacked the rich flavor of the same dish I have enjoyed at Carrabba's in Baton Rouge. We will give them a 2nd try though.“
