Zea Rotisserie & Bar

Evan is amazing and definitely a huge asset to Zea’s. We have been maybe 4 times, I’ve never been disappointed with the service here nor the food or drinks. We now request Evan every time for his hospitality, humor, and excellent drink mixing. 🫶🏻 Our friends from Dallas enjoyed the food and service. Y’all were short staffed but he stepped up and did amazing bartending and taking care of your patrons.

The bartender and hostess continued to pressure my son whom was of age about his age despite proving his age with a state of Louisiana ID. We left on Sunday evening as the bartender argued that this was there policy. Multiple ID checks come on, we know when we are not wanted. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Sure seemed our business is not wanted. When my wife and I purchased multiple $500 Gift Cards this place was happy to see us. Now I have these gift cards worth significant monies and do not feel welcome at all. I would recommend the other restaurants in the Juban Crossing area. As for the bartender this guy should be fired on the spot. Speaking down toward your long time customers is completely absurd. The manager had a different tone when I stated I was calling the corporate office in Metairie (Harahan). Honestly, I prefer my money back and simply to move on.

I’m very disappointed with my Uber Eats order today. I couldn’t type there so here I am. Between December 29 and today, your takeout plates have gotten drastically smaller. Also, the sections were not even half full. We order often but no more takeout for us. It’s ridiculous to be served such small portions.

I really like Zea's roasted chicken that comes with a choice of sauces. And, the grits side dish is so good that I often do a double order of that. Salads are also very good but I recommend getting the dressing on the side because sometimes they use too much for my taste.

Had lunch here with my family for my birthday. The food was decent, but a bit skimpy for the price. I was never once offered a refill on my drink. Was also disappointed that they did not provide any type of birthday dessert or anything. Top that off with the table being sticky because the cleaner they use is ruining the finish. I hope they take better care of the new hightop tables they've put in. Not likely to revisit this location. I've only been to one other Zea in Metairie LA, and it was a much more pleasant experience.

I am absolutely thrilled to share my review of Zea Rotisserie & Bar! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend trying their rotisserie chicken - it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I can't wait to repeat!

Pleasant atmosphere. Thai Ribs, corned grits and potatoes tasted great but was cold when I got it even after asking the waitress when ordering to bring the food out as it came up so it would be hot for everyone, but she waited until it was all ready and we had a party of 10. A plus for me is that it wasn't freezing in the restaurant , it was comfortable. Will definitely be going back with a much smaller party to get hot food.

Parking: Plenty of parking and the spaces are not to small. So you don't have to worry about bumping the car next to you when opening your door.

Menu is small already and to be told they have ran out of your order at 6:30pm on Saturday night is a bummer. Our waitress was sweet that just put a huge damper on the evening. Huge fail by the manager to have their poor service staff having to answer for his/her mistake.
