“It's such an enjoyable experience being able to customize your pizza. Now I have experienced one altercation where my food did not come out as I asked, due to whatever miscommunication that was, the manager gave me a gift card to come back and get the food again and even asked if I wanted them to remake it. I was in a hurry at the time so I just took it as it was. The customer service is great and the food even better because you basically make it! Easy, quick, and lots of endless options. They also do a monthly special on curated pizzas and have special discounts on certain days too!“

“I had the most wonderful experience coming across this restaurant as I was walking down the street. I am visiting from out of town but if I were living here this would be a regular spot for me. I started with a Caesar salad that I thought was exceptional and those are some of the best croutons I have ever had. Then the small on me pizza came and then I had my first reservation about this place because although the ingredients were delicious the pizza was undercooked.. one of the servers not only asked how everything was and I told her that and she explained to me how the dough is prepared fresh daily. So they offered to reheat it for another 5 minutes and if it was perfect. I think there were some secret ingredients in that dough because the flavor was spectacular. Mallory and Candace gave exceptional service. Unbelievably friendly and hospitable. I loved the decor and the exposed brick wall. A very intimate setting wonderfully enjoyable.“

“Had Parish Grill for the first time yesterday - staff greeted us right away . Our server , Ramsey , we excellent and told us her favorites off the menu . 3 of us got a burger and my husband got the Tuesday special blackened chicken jambalaya. It was all delicious. Generous portion of fries , burger cooked perfectly . My husband thought the jambalaya was very good . We will def. Be back !“

“Who'da thunk it?! This little pizza shop in Algier's points looks pretty ordinary...no jazzy signs or red carpet type entrance...just a pizza place. Nope. Not just a pizzeria...Nighthawk is legit the best pizza I have ever had. Like, ever. And I've had a lot over the years at various places. We got the supreme and the pics don't do it justice. The crust is light and crispy. The sauce is simple and not overwhelming. The cheese to topping ratio is perfection. The supreme has pickled peppers on it and lemme tell ya...game. changer. My sister got the margherita which looks amazing as well but I'm not a basil lover. I stopped to tell the chef (yes, that man is a chef!) how amazing his creation was. We visit here often and this will be on my list!“

“We were just looking for a quick bite to eat. Like a lot of parents with younger kids ours love pizza. My wife and I each got a slice of the bourbon special pizza and loved it. Kiddo opted for pepperoni and enjoyed that with his less developed taste buds. Lol We all split a Greek salad that was plenty for the 3 of us. The guys working there were very friendly. We're not from the area but this will definitely be on our list of places to come back to if and when we ever return. Prices were also very reasonable too compared compared to other places in the area who want to charge a meals price for a slice of pizza.“

“An intriguing atmosphere. A quick google search for “pizza by the slice” led us here, and we arrived to a lady behind the bar belting into a microphone attached to an ad-hoc karaoke system.

Initially unsure about the vibe (after all we just wanted some quick food before heading further afield), we entered and requested some pizza.

We sat, eating our pizza (which was actually genuinely delicious) interspersed by Americans rapping about intercourse with people from around the world. We promptly realised that this establishment was in fact one of our favourite places of the whole trip, alternating pizza slices with singing our favourite (explicitly British) karaoke numbers from Elton John and Arctic Monkeys and even some (not british) Bruce Springsteen.

The place was surprisingly quiet, not only making for quick food service but also frequent hits on the mic which can be difficult in karaoke bars.

The pizza, as well as being delicious can cater to almost all dietary requirements with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. We did, however, notice a discrepancy in quality between the “large” pizza we ordered and the individual slices we purchased (which were far nicer). The 16” pizza we had tasted more like standard late night takeaway pizza (disappointing), but the slices were more like classic slice by slice pizza, and they were really really good (rich in tomato).

Anyway, overall this place is worth visiting, whether for pizza, drinks, or singing. Prices are also cheaper than anything in the area that we found. A comfortable 5*.“

In town for the first weekend of the 2025 New Orleans Jazz Festival, and after spending the morning and afternoon at the Festival I walked through Frenchmen Street (a few blocks from the French Market streetcar stop). The bar had just opened (it was around 6 p.m.) and the house band was tuning up when I walked past, as they covered the Allman Brothers’ Band’s You Don’t Love Me. Couldn’t pass that by, so I got an Abita and listened to the band for a few minutes.

Awesome atmosphere, excellent sound system, and a very talented band. Bar staff was very cool, as was the selection of bar goods. Open air location, in the heart of Frenchmen Street – excellent vibe. Laissez les bons temps rouler!“

“Milano's is a hidden gem that has excellent food. The owners are there every evening (late into the night), and they are extremely friendly and accomodating. The pizzas are very good, and they always have a ton of toppings. The entrees come with a significant amout of food that alway result in leftovers. The late night hours are a plus if you work late or just need a late-night meal. We eat here a couple times a month and are alway treated well and are pleased with the food. Ordered from reginelli's pizza on magazine street. I work private security in the area and cannot leave my post. I made my order at 11:31 am ticket #9. The delivery was quick as reginelli's is located about 3-4 blocks. I'm also a diabetic and have to eat on a schedule. Well anyway I open the pizza box and most of the pizza is burnt/crispy. The pepperoni was hard and crispy like most of the pizza. I would have sent it back but I was hungry and had to eat something so I ate most.of the salvageable pizza.“
