“Traveling across country. Googled highly rated restaurants and this came up. Don’t be deceived by the size of the building. I had the roast beef PoBoy with gravey. So delicious gravey, roast beef and the soft bun. Stop here it’s very good.”

“Went there for the first time Saturday night. We had a good time. If you drink beer or a daiquiri you’re in good shape. I ask for a gin and tonic, no tonic. They had soda water, so I tried it, ok. Otherwise had a fun time listening to reflections and dancing.”

“It was like taking a step back in time. I am confident that I was at Buche's 55 summers ago enjoying a burger and fries and I was there today without Rod Serling in Twilight Zone enjoying the same. The floors, walls and ceiling are still the same. Same pictures are hanging depicting a simpler time. Mrs. Buche wasn't tending bar or flipping burgers and Mr.Willie was not in his rocker in the corner behind the bar, but I nodded hello anyway. It was a great deal then and the food is still a bargain - comparing quality and quantity versus price. The visit brought back old memories of good times and good friends.”

Hands Down Granddaughter had the chocolate Cake for Desert , She ate some there took some home ate some when we got home and I still have 1/2 a slice left over I had the crab cakes they were Delicious”

“When I go to Louisiana I want to go here for a PoBoy. Waitresses are friendly and from the area .Serve a pretty wide variety of seafood, and they have it all from appetizers to delicious made to order dinners . Definitely recommended by me .”

“Great place to hang out, great view, volleyball net and sand court. Nice floating dock for accessing from water and docking boat. Or using boat ramp.

Boat launch is a pay to use ramp. I think it’s $5. But worth it. If I’m going to south side of lake I use this ramp, if going to north side of the lake, I use the ramp in town. It’s worth the $5 to use the ramp, especially with the floating dock. It’s very nice to use. Also they have non ethanol premium 93 octane fuel on the water. Which is definitely the best thing to use in your boat. Definitely worth checking out this place.

Parking: Parking for tow vehicle with boat trailer. Costs to use boat ramp but worth it, since they have a nice floating dock to use for parking to visit from water or simply to use boat ramp.”
