Absolutely wonderful!! We had chicken fried steak and hamburger steak. Mashed potatoes with brown and white gravy between the two, green beans, and cream style corn, and rolls. Reminds me of Momma's cooking from 20+ years ago, which was a wonderful feeling! We drove the 30 miles from South Bossier and will be back. We traveled to Louisiana to drive up the historic route of 3049. We found this recently and decided to make the drive over to see the sites. The time to go is in June when the flowers are blooming, but we went anyway. It is a very pretty drive, but as it came time to eat, we couldn't find a restaurant. This restaurant is a jewel. It is in an old building that doesn't look real attractive from the outside. But don't let that put you off. Inside, you get a warm down home greeting and some of the best food around with reasonable prices. I've had the chicken fried steak, the fish dinner, and the grilled fish. All were delicious!
