Went there this morning. Rude staff and terrible donuts. The donut holes went in the trash they were so old, def not fresh.
This is usually my go to place for donuts. The service is usually great and the donuts are awesome. Well this morning (1/24/26) the service was absolutely horrible. The older lady behind the counter was rude. I asked the cashier for a dozen glazed and the older lady chimed in saying they didn’t have a dozen glazed- there were 18 glazed sitting in the case, obviously she just didn’t want to make anymore. Went there this morning and they did not disappoint. The boudin doughnuts with pepper jelly is the best I’ve had. My wife wants me to drive from Amite again tomorrow for some more. Oh and that turtle coffee was delicious too. Didn’t have to add anything to it and it wasn’t overly sweet. Service was too notice too.
